Humans – Species
Humans are the core playable creature type in The Foregone Trail. Although The Foregone Trail is set in a different fantasy universe from our own, humans are for all intents and purposes the same.
Based on Age, all Human characters have the same base Blood, Sweat and Tears along with casting dice and movement speed. Classes, passive skills and leveling can alter these values. See Table Human for specifics:

Basic Skills:
All humans have a base set of skills. These start at low for all characters but class selection and leveling can increase them.
Bartering: Negotiating for something one party or another wants
First Aid (age 15+): Using materials to treat wounds and injuries
Hiding/Concealing: Hiding something on their person or in a location
Inquiry: Basic social skill for asking questions of a willing participant.
Interrogation (age 15+): Coercing information from an unwilling source
Intimidation (age 15+): Threating harm to gain compliance
Melee: Non-ranged exchanging of blows
Quick Draw (age 15+): Pulling a weapon from a sheath, holster or sling and using it in a single round
Searching: Basic skill for physically interacting with a location, looking for a specific target.
Shooting (age 15+): Using firearms
Street Smarts: Skills for navigating a city or other human settlement
Throwing: Chucking, yeeting, tossing, etc.
Trail Craft: Skills for navigating regions outside of cities or human settlements
Use Tools: Using basic tools to cut, chop, pry, scoop, shovel, hit etc.
Wrestling: Attempting to physically control another character
