Gilatram – NPC
A gilatram is a Kaiju that looks like a Gila monster with ram’s horns. It is rather passive for a Kaiju and will only attack if attacked. However the gilatram has a taste for dry wood and loves nothing more than to eat a house, barn or rail ties for a meal. One loose in a town can be it’s ruin.
They have basic kaiju attacks, but also have a chomp attack that also engulfs the target in flames. This can be done to characters, monsters or buildings or other things.
Like all kaiju they are immune to all non-catastrophic damage and have damage reduction above that based on their age. Only their face and butt are vulnerable, so even though they are huge, they have the same size as a human for ranged targeting.
Any firearm shooting their horns will cause them to drop whatever is in their mouths, opening them wide and spend one round roaring into the air. This cannot be done in successive rounds, at maximum every other round.
Gilatrams are also completely vulnerable to damage internally and explosives may be thrown into their mouths while roaring causing great damage.
